LUXOR Solar supports the diving club from Blace, Croatia in cleaning the seabed in Omis, Croatia.

At the invitation of the Diving Center "Calypso" and the Tourist Board of the city of Omis, members of diving club "LEUT" participated in the traditional eco action of cleaning the seabed, called "Omiška plava čistka“.

The action of cleaning the seabed was held during the weekend from 02.10.2021 to 03.10.2021. On Saturday, divers cleaned part of the river Cetina and a large amount of waste emerged- discarding fishing tackle, plastic, glass, umbrellas and car tires. Over two tons of garbage was collected.
On Sunday, a group of divers cleaned the seabed in the famous Vruja, which is a natural phenomenon not only due to its location and beauty but also to the fact that one of the sources of the river Cetina, originates from the depths its seabed.

Although an attractive location, Vruja is not spared from waste. A large amount of waste, which is primarily made out of car tires, spoils the beauty of the underwater world.
During the Omis cleaning, a large amount of waste was removed and it was handed over to the communal services for further treatment.
Although disappointed with the condition of the seabed, the members of diving club "LEUT" and LUXOR Solar are happy that their engagement can participate in nature conservation and contribute to rescue the world from bad energy.
